Look at SOY. Ohh its a wonder food the Gov told us. A “health food” they said. Its cheap to. Ahhh, so we all go out and get soy cuz we will live to be 100 right.

Truth is, its a cheap junk food that turns boys and men into near women. Sexual dysfunction, low amounts of testoterone, and unfallen testicles are normal within young boys and men who use to much Soy. The Navy Seals have banned (yes banned) Soy from their mess halls. Point is, don’t rely on Government for your health.

  2. SeanP7195 Says:

The Government wants us to die sooner. They are banning electronic cigarettes because they have been shown to be 1400 times safer than regular cigarettes. I am anti-Government on this issue. I am also anti-Government on the issue of allowing anything to be put into cigarettes. They want money, and oy to die earlier, period. I am for the people, you are for the Government. You are the nanny-state person. Get it yet! You are doing thy bidding. Learn the scams people.

  3. SeanP7195 Says:

    Was there a question?

  4. wrjamescom Says:

What’s wrong with publishing information, banning fraud, and leaving free people to act freely? I have the same problems with the legal and medical professions. Why should their private clubs (the AMA and the Bar) be allowed to say who’s allowed to practice? Let them and other groups certify and let people choose. If they want an uncertified doc, or one certified by a different org, so be it. People who want to protect others from themselves should adopt retarded kids.

  5. SeanP7195 Says:

Don’t get it. . . . . . But its funny how people like me who simply want regulation are called nanny-state nazi’s, but Governments who ban a safer product cuz it will interfere with their tax scam are called protectors. Wow, talk about being able to brainwash the public easily.

I read up and walgreens started selling one type of (way overpriced) E-Cig back in May. However, it looks like the legislation goons are gearing up in the US and it could lead to a 3 year FDA “study”. If thats freedom. . ?

  6. wrjamescom Says:

Maybe they are afraid people will cut their feet stamping them out. :)

  7. wrjamescom Says:

I wish they’d apply the same to the scammers selling holistic “medicines”. They charge outrageous prices and there’s NOTHING in it! I saw one silly ad for a holistic “medicine” for dogs, as if a dog will understand even enough for the placebo to work. :)

  8. wrjamescom Says:

All sorts of things are not harmless, depending on how they are used and by whom and when. Every drug, of course, but water, sugar, cars, knives, just about anything. And just about everything, including nicotine, has some good uses. That’s true even if the vast majority of the time it’s use is not beneficial.

  9. wrjamescom Says:

A similar situation involves electric and hybrid cars. Governments have realized that if everyone is driving on electric or getting 100 or more MPG they gas tax revenue is going to drop to a trickle. So they are now wanting to by tracking systems on cars and tax them by the mile. Of course, it’s about control even more than money. If it was just about the money they’d do something sensible like taxing tires instead of fuel. The more you use the roads, the more road tax you pay.

  10. SeanP7195 Says:

“The Food and Drug Administration last month confiscated shipments from three Chinese companies on the grounds they were making false health claims. The agency said in a recent letter to prospective importers of electronic cigarettes that it had not decided on their legality, but was “evaluating them on a case-by-case basis. ”

That should tell you all you need to know about their future.

  11. SeanP7195 Says:

I just double checkes and along with Australia, Canada (notice the super liberal, Socialist nations) and Hong Kong have also banned E-Cigarettes. And if/when E-cigs get big in the US. Expect to see a big push to levy some massive taxes on them. Government proving once again, that it is shit.

  12. SeanP7195 Says:

In all fairness, nicotine is not harmless. In constricts blood flow an dcan cause all types of cardiovascular inflictions and diseases. Increased heart rate and artherioscelrosis being the biggest.

  13. SeanP7195 Says:

Like I said, I havent seen them, but I dont buy smokes anymore, so the only thing I notice is the 7. 00/pack sign right behind the cashiers head.

  14. SeanP7195 Says:

As far as I know, nothing. They just banned it outright and the people were never allowed to discuss, vote, debate anything about it. That’s what happens when you allow Government to run wild with our health. As I stated earlier, the defenders of that behavior are the real nanny-state people. Australia had the chance to allow its people to choose between smoking 1 chemical, or 4 thousand with every puff. They choose tax revenue over its citizens health.

  15. wrjamescom Says:

the E-cigs are at the counter in lots of places here, including Walgreens.

  16. wrjamescom Says:

Sure, the elected crooks will protect their revenue, but they have to come up with some kind an excuse to ban something obviously harmless. What did the aussies come up with anyway?

  17. wrjamescom Says:

Yes, but it was intentionally made extremely difficult to change the constitution. We don’t want passing fads to be the basis of law. The constitution tends to prevent that, if followed. Prohibition proved that it’s not entirely immune from passing fads, but it’s close.

  18. SeanP7195 Says:

I never see E-cigarettes in stores and know that the N-joy was just recently approved for mail order only. The reason that states/nations would ban E-cigs is simple. When you are smoking an E-cig, you are not paying 3 dollars a pack in taxes to the state like you would for Marlboro Reds. Thats it, its that simple. No taxes for us = you ain’t gettin it. And you wanna back the Government on these type things?

  19. SeanP7195 Says:

But laws are subjective and can be changed. Like Tony Soprano used to say, “In another country this is legal, so who gives a shit”. In some states you can shoot me for breaking into your home and be a hero. In other states you can go to prison for doing the same thing. Looking to the Government for reasoning with our laws is a dangerous, dangerous thing.

  20. wrjamescom Says:

If a company isn’t breaking the law it’s not criminal. And even if it were, nearly all crimes are state issue, not federal. The constitution doesn’t allow the federal government to reach beyond it’s clearly stated constitutional duties.

  21. wrjamescom Says:

I live in the states and I see them in stores all the time. But I seriously doubt that the tobacco companies see them as threat at all.

And I cannot imagine why the ausies would ban such a thing.

  22. SeanP7195 Says:

I see nothing in the US Constitution that says we should bend over and take criminal organizations disgused as businesses selling people ultra addictive posions using cartoon characters. Nicotine has been shown to be a harder habit to kick than cocaine and heroin (they even state that on Canadian packs of smokes). Look at China, they are close to what you describe. Their corporations are allowed to do anything. It has effected everything in its people, even height.

  23. SeanP7195 Says:

Are you referring to the “nations” when I was discussing the banning of Electronic cigarettes? If you were then, yes, I jumped the gun (however youtube doesnt allow you to fix posted messages). Currently only Australia (last time I checked) has banned E-cigs outright. However, many other European nations have referendums to ban them. In the US they are fighting its sale to mail-order only. For a while you could not even do that. Clearly, the states see these as a threat to their monopoly.

  24. wrjamescom Says:

I’m not doubting you on this, but I am curious as to what those “nations” are. Can you list them? I might be rather interesting.

  25. wrjamescom Says:

BTW, Oddly enough I was robbed by a 12 year old, but in Memphis Tennessee in the 1970s. Had the establishment belonged me I would have just shot the little punk, I was armed. But the company rules were the rules and I followed them. After a few more robberies I wouldn’t have so it’s good that I found better work. Nine was enough.
