On the reverse side, write all the good effects of giving up smoking.
You will save so much money if you quit smoking, no more smokers breath, no more smelly clothing and hair, no more shortness of breath and coughing and any other reasons that make you feel good about quitting. Keep this paper close at hand to remind you why you need to stop when you feel a particularly strong craving.
Tell your friends and family of your goal to stop smoking and ask for their support and help. Their support and the desire not to fail in their eyes can help to stiffen your resolve.
